WE ARE UMBREY ENGINEERING (P) LTD

Founded in 1972, as M/s. RAVI ENGINEERING WORKS, now merged under M/s. UMBREY ENGINEERING (P) LTD from 2004.
Umbrey Engineering is registered in Bangalore in the state of Karnataka, India

Umbrey engineering (P) Ltd. has been involved with the supply, manufacture, fabrication and installation of custom built machine components and AC/DC motor shafts for major manufacturing companies for over Forty Five years.

Umbrey engineering has manufactured Motor Shaft, Motor cover, AC/DC motor Component for several private, public and government agencies.

Since 1972, the company started aggressively pursuing the manufacturing and supply of custom-built machine components based on contemporary industry standards, building on the ethics and strong foundation laid down by its founder (Mr.VenkobaRao Umbrey).

With our manufacturing capabilities and experienced technicians we have produced quality shafts to our customers.

Facilities and Equipment

Facilities:

The facility is comprised of 4.5 acres of land, (1,96,000 sq ft.) Including machine shop space of 40,000 sq feet, Office space of 2,000 sq. feet a stores area for raw material of 10,000 sq feet and store for finished product of 5000 sq. feet.

Equipment:

Umbrey engineering has a substantial complement of Center lathe, Cylindrical - Grinding machine capable of turning and Grinding finishing shafts up to 9.0 meters long, 1400 mm diameter and a Plano milling machine capable to mill components up to 6.0 meters long, 1.2 meters wide and 1.2mtrs height. CNC Turning Center capable of turning shaft up to 7 meters long and 160 mm diameter and 5 Axis Machining Center: Travels and Range 4500X2200X1500 (XxYxZ) (See our list machine shop equipment for more information)

Our Products

We manufacture a wide range of shafts as per customers drawing and design requirement. We are supplying to the Major Companies like TMEIC India, Weg India, TENOVA India , Toyo Dinky Power Systems, L&T Komatsu Ltd etc. Through we have excelled in the manufacturing of motor shafts we have also specialized in the manufacturing of Machine Components. Our shafts range from 1.0 meter to 9.0 meters long and diameter 50mm to 1600mm. We are also well equipped with a vast range of measuring instruments.
MATERIAL - The raw materials are purchased from major suppliers within the local area. We are always backed with sufficient raw material to maintain the production level.
MAN POWER - We have well-motivated team of workers who bring out optimum result. All our workers posses the required qualification and the skill to perform the concerned jobs. Umbrey engineering employs sufficient number of people comprising of designer, senior electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, technicians, machinists and office staff.
